What is the Globe Affiliate Program?

The Globe and Mail Affiliate Program allows you to place links on your website to the Globe and Mail website. When a potential new subscriber follows your link to the Globe and purchases a subscription, you earn a commission. It is that easy!

How do I sign up?
Sign up here. Once you complete the Globe Affiliate registration form, you will receive an email from us within 24 hours regarding your acceptance and participation.

After acceptance into the program, what is next?
Once you have been accepted as a Globe Affiliate, you will be able to access your account from www.globeandmail.com/affiliates using your chosen username and password. From there, you can access all of the tools you will need to create links to the Globe and check your affiliate program statistics to know how much you have earned to date.

What does it cost to join?
It is 100% free to register and participate in the Globe and Mail affiliate program. There are NO initial, monthly or yearly fees!

Is my site eligible to become a Globe Affiliate?
Any site can fill out an application, and we will accept a wide variety of sites into our program. However, we reserve the right to refuse any site that does not comply with our Terms and Conditions.

Can websites outside of Canada join?
Websites outside of Canada can participate in the program, but the highest conversion rates will be from Canadian Customers and websites who attract a Canadian demographic similar to the Globe. Each website will be taken on a case by case basis. You can reach an affiliate manager by contacting us, and letting us know your current situation if you feel you don’t meet this criteria. If I have more than one site, can I still become a Globe Affiliate?
Absolutely! During registration just include the URL of each of your websites and we will include them into the program if they all meet our terms and conditions.

How do I create links to the Globe?
Use your affiliate username and password to log in at www.globeandmail.com/affiliates

How does the Globe links work?
All links to the Globe and Mail will direct the potential customer to the Globe Subscription landing page. Each affiliate will be provided with their own unique link which will include a unique identifier. When a potential customer follows your link and then purchases a subscription, your unique identifier will be sent to the Globe and once the sale is complete, the computer system will recognize the identifier as being referred by YOU and update your affiliate statistics accordingly.

How do I know how much money I’ve earned?
You can access information on sales, commissions, visitors, clicks, impressions and conversion rates via the affiliate section at www.globeandmail.com/affiliatesYou will need to have your username and password to access this private affiliate area.

When do I get paid?
You will get a single check from the Globe And Mail each month for the commission you’ve earned from the Globe Affiliate program. Payments will be made by the 10th of the month for the previous month’s commission.
